Contest and GIVEAWAY!

It's been a few days since I've moved over to Blogger.  So far, I've loved the changes.  I'll still be changing a few things around over the next week or two, so if you see any glitches, please let me know.

Today I'd like to begin this blog's very first contest and giveaway.

TOMS liked my blog and sent me two free copies of Blake Mycoskie's brand new book "Start Something That Matters," one to give away to one of you in a contest of some sorts and one to keep.  The book is very inspiring and perfect for anyone who wants to make a difference in the world.  I'll be sharing a more detailed review of the book itself in a week.

There are two ways you can be entered into the drawing for your chance to win "Start Something That Matters."
  1. You can "follow" my blog.  On the right side of this page, you should see a button that will either say "join this site" or "follow."  All you need is a Google account to follow my blog.  Once you "follow" my blog, you'll automatically be entered into the drawing.
  2. If you aren't interested in following my blog (or if you want to be entered twice into the drawing), all you need to do is post a link to this contest on your blog.  Write a post, mention this contest, link to EmilythePerson.com, and leave a comment on my blog sharing the link to your post, and I'll add your name into the drawing.
On January 14, I'll put the names of all of my followers and all of those who linked to this contest in a hat and one of you will win a free copy of "Start Something That Matters."  I'll post the winner's name on my blog.  The winner will have one week to send me his or her mailing address before I draw another name.

I am pumped about this contest, guys.  "Start Something That Matters" is worth the read and I'm so excited to send a copy to one of you.

Be sure to follow my blog or post a link to this contest on your blog in the next two weeks (or do both to get two entries). If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Have a great day. :)
