Immodest Trends: Leggings as Pants

One of the most prevalent immodest trends lately is leggings as pants. I've seen them everywhere. What is sad to me is the fact 
that most girls that wear leggings as pants do not look attractive. Skinny leggings make fat bulge in places where you didn't know you had fat before. Tight leggings will make your thighs bulge out and flatten your rear end. I have yet to see anyone who truly looks flattered in only a pair of leggings without the help of photoshop. Even if you purchase a pair of leggings that are too big for you so that they won't be so tight and unflattering, they will still be too tight, and you will attract the eyes of men and boys who are trying to keep their minds pure.
Leggings were originally used as a tool for modesty and they can still be used that way! All you need to do to wear leggings modestly is stick a skirt (not a rubber band sized mini-skirt, but a knee-length or a few inches above skirt) over your leggings and voila! Suddenly you've added a cute touch to a modest outfit. You can have a similar effect with a cute dress or a long trench coat (so long as you don't take the trench coat off).
Leggings can be modest. It all depends on how you wear them.

"...you will attract the eyes of men and boys who are trying to keep their minds pure..." What do you mean by that? I guess you probably equate "pure" with "not thinking about sex." Why do people think it is somehow impure to think about sex? Do you have ANY idea how irrational that is?

Thanks for sharing your opinion. Thinking about sex isn't what I see as wrong. If a boy is lusting over a girl who is not his wife, I do believe that is wrong. I believe so because of what the Bible says in Matthew 5:28, Job 31:1, Proverbs 6:25, and etc.
I make these modest fashion articles for fellow Christian girls who strive to honor God and not tempt boys to lust by the way we dress. If you believe differently, that's fine. It doesn't offend me that you don't believe the same way I do. However, there are girls who believe the same way I do who would like to dress modestly and that's my targeted audience in this post. :) Have a great day.
