Sky pictures are so addictive.

I love taking pictures of the sky.  It's always a little different and it's always beautiful.  Such a stunning creation of God.

In fact, I can't think of a time when the sky isn't pretty in Texas.  On a cloudless day, it looks like a great blue bowl.  On a day when fluffy white clouds fill the sky.  During a sunrise.  During a sunset.  At night when the stars fill the sky like spilled glitter.  During a rainstorm.

I'm addicted to taking sky pictures.  Instagram hasn't helped this addiction of mine.  At all.  Look at those beautiful clouds.


Even when it rains and the sky is dark and angry and gray, it's still beautiful.


Since rain is rare in these parts, when it does become rainy, I can't help but take lots of pictures.  Of the grayness of the clouds, of the wet pavement, of the shiny water droplets on my car window.  I love the rain.  I love thunder.  In the town where I'm living right now, it's rained more than I'm used to, even though I'm still in Texas.... and I LOVE IT.

Rain, rain, how I love you.
