This weekend, I will be at an Impact Retreat... and next week, my finals begin. Because of this, I would appreciate your patience with me. My blogging schedule will be a little scrambled over the next two weeks.
I could definitely appreciate your prayers:
- For me, that I have enough time and focus to study.
- For me, that my stress and anxiety level about finals and grades will diminish as I put my trust in God instead.
- For the class of 2016, as we lift them up this weekend.
And meanwhile, as you're patient with me, here are some great pictures from a photoshoot we had to do for Impact. We are placed into guy/girl partnerships that are in charge of leading and mentoring a "Basic Group" of freshmen. My Impact partner's name is Luke (yes, like my brother) and we had an amusing time taking pictures for our poster that will be hanging on the wall while we're at camp.
And here is our BG (Basic Group) verse. Hebrews 12:29 "For our God is a consuming FIRE." Great, right?
Our photographer, Stephanie, brought this funny stuffed monkey with her and kept placing it in our shots without us realizing it. In fact, we didn't realize the monkey was in any of our four or five pictures of us laying on the ground... until I pulled the pictures up on my computer later on. That rascal monkey.
Seriously, the thing was a rascal.
This picture is my favorite. I don't know why, but it always makes me laugh.
Yes, this will be an Impact-filled weekend. I am excited to see how the Lord will move and continue to shape our hearts so that we can disciple our freshmen.
Do you have any prayer requests?
